I'm thinking of throwing a party when all you Hogwarts kids get out for summer. A field party. Anyone have a field I can borrow? I'll clean it up or get someone to do it for me when we're done!

Well. That party was certainly the most fun I've had in a while. And I hope you all had lots of fun too!!! ESPECIALLY YOU, BIRTHDAY GIRL.

Oh-- and don't forget to vote.

For those of you holding the rally: I'm going to be the last person to tell you that you don't have the right to your own stupid opinions about things, but please have them be founded in some way.

And realize that you're hurting people.

In other news, Emily and Aaron, have fun tonight!! Someone ought to.

Eric
You okay? Need anything?

Warded to Eric [26 Mar 2010|02:58pm]
Eric. I may or may not have found you a kitten. You know, to make your horrid week better.

If you don't want it or have horrible aversions to cats, it can live with Botticelli and I. But it was all alone in this dirty box in Diagon and I couldn't leave it there, and after I bathed it I discovered it was not, in fact, grey, but white. And it's fluffy now.

Botticelli is horribly jealous, but he'll deal.

The point of this was, do you want a kitten?

The cat hid my journal.

So. Who wants to come over and have dinner tomorrow night? I feel like cooking (strange, right?) and I need willing victims test subjects to eat whatever I make because obviously I'm going to make too much for just me.

Success! My own flat! Botticelli and I (that's what I named the kitten, in case anyone was wondering) are set up and starting to unpack, thankfully with Mum's help. She totally organized my kitchen for me.

Now let's see if I can keep it that way.

I love my family. I do. Loads.

But I cannot keep living here. Anyone have room for me on a couch or something?

Well, that was a splendid Christmas! Thanks to EVERYONE for my gifts!

On to the next holiday! What are everyone's New Year's plans?

Oh, and boys-- can I come and use that ridiculous but oddly useful pool of yours?

Harper's appeal starts this week. Anyone want to protest with me? I mean COME ON. Like he didn't actually do it.

In happier news, I now have a part-time job teaching ballet to little three, four and five year olds. It's at a Muggle studio, but it's a job and it's dance, and that's good enough for me. Besides, adorable kids are adorable kids, and frankly this means I won't have to deal with accidental magic during my classes, which is a total plus.

I love ballet. I think maybe I'd like to teach dance. It would be a much better more fun job than working here at the Leaky, that's for sure, and little kids are so cute when they're first learning! They're so tiny and earnest and even when they mess up it's adorable.

So. I came to the conclusion a while back that I sucked as a big sister. I want to fix it. I'm trying to fix it. Any ideas from your end?

So, apparently we're all going to get kidnapped by Martians.

Man, I love reading the Quibbler.

Martians. Discuss.

And do any of you sick people want soup or anything?

So far, so good on this avoiding-the-sneezing-sickness thing. Fingers crossed it stays that way, yeah?

I feel woefully neglected, in other news. Anyone want to spend time with your favorite Alice? A girl can only stay in so many nights painting her ten-year-old sister's toenails, no matter how cute said sister is.

Private

Not a great week. First Em, then Michael. What is up with people I know about getting themselves injured!?

Longbottoms

Heard anything about Michael and Grace? I mean clearly you have, Matt, Mum says you've been at St. Mungo's. And EM, how are you FEELING?? Susan's reading this over my shoulder, so no one say anything too vulgar. Not that you would. I'm just letting you know.

I'm going to the Cauldron Ball, of course. No costume yet, though I'm hoping to remedy that today. Who is going as what already so I know what NOT to dress as?
